Not back: All the nerves that supply the arms and hands exit the spine in the neck, well above the back and so it is not possible anatomically for a back problem to directly cause neurologic symptoms in the arms. Carpal tunnel syndorme is very common and one of many potential causes of what you are describing. Consider being checked. Thank you.
