Would it be typical for carpal tunnel symptoms to get worse at night and while sleeping and in morning?

Yes yes and yes: Carpal tunnel often seems worse at night because the fluids that lie outside the cells and around the cells will move around in your body when you like down the fluid often goes to face and hands so if you have carpal tunnel extra fluid in your hands will raise the pressure around the nerve you also tend to have your wrist in a flexed or extended position when you sleep and are not aware.
