Filling or extract: Depends on the extent of the decay. Ask your treating dentist what is right for you.

Depends: Treatment recommendations may depend on several factors, but not limited to the size and location of decay in the tooth, the position of the tooth, whether or not the wisdom tooth is in function and assisting you in chewing, as well as if the wisdom tooth is a possible cause for gum problems or decay in the adjacent tooth. Your dentist can and should advise you of options and recommendations.
