Missing Teeth: You can have an implant placed any time after the bone fills into the 2nd molar socket, which can take several months. Over time, if the second molar is not replaced, your maxillary second molar will super-erupt and create an uneven bite and possibly periodontal problems. You need to look 30 years into the future, not how you feel today. Discuss your concerns with your dentist.

Depends: If the 2nd molar extraction site was grafted with bone, then 3-4 months...If not graft, then 1-2 months. I'd recommend getting a CBCT scan 1 -2 weeks prior to the implant placement to be extra careful that the nerve and submandibular space are not encroached/perforated. I won't place implants without one. Good luck.

3-6 month: The healing time of 3-6 months is preferable after tooth extraction before implant is placed. During the first year after teeth have been removed, as much as 40% of jawbone width can be lost.
