had a part of my gum grow over decayed wisdom tooth. now the gum feels like food stuck in my teeth, but looks like a ball hanging & about to fall off.

Hard to tell: Without seeing the ball it is hard to tell what it might be.... I would suggest having the dentist that removed the wisdom teeth take a look.
