See a dermatologist: More information is needed. What is your age? How severe is your acne? Have you had treatment before and if so what? I assume you are a teenager. Most of this is due to hormones. However, see a dermatologist for a consultation. Some dermatologist may put you on antibiotics or retin a (tretinoin).

Acne: It is important to treat your acne so that you don't get permanent scarring. Some patients wait too long before seeing their dermatologist to have their acne treated. Normally topical medicines and internal antibiotics are used to keep acne under control. You can start with an over the counter benzoyl peroxide wash while you are waiting for your appointment with your dermatologist.

Pimples/ Acne : The key to acne/ pimples is control. There is no cure. Treatment often includes a combination of topical and/or oral antibiotics or anti-inflammatories, keratolytics and sun protection. Laser and light treatments, chemical peels as well as microdermabrasion can also be very useful to reduce inflammation, improve cell turnover, lighten post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and improve acne scarring.
