Same basic schedule: Just as you probably did before starting shift work, you likely had an hour or two of quieter time that prepared your body and mind for sleep. This may have included a snack as well. You should follow the same general pattern with one important new practice. You should completely avoid exposure to the natural morning sunlight (sunglasses). Have a small meal. Unwind for an hour then get to bed.
