Asthma: When this type of symptom complex continues to reoccur it raises the possibility that you are having an allergic reaction to something and that you are having symptoms of cough variant asthma. Your chest xray and pulmonary function tests will often be normal. It may be time to see an allergist or at least be tried on an inhaled steroid containing medication.
