Check : Check out your medications make sure he is not on ace inhibitors e.G lisinopril/enalapril, have he tried a cough suppressant ?

Multiple causes: Acid reflux can cause a chronic cough. Medications also. Did they request a ct of the sinuses, as chronic sinusitis also causes a chronic cough.

Find an expert: Consider going to a center with expertise in chronic cough. Mayo may be a good option since you are in il. There are also some treatments for refractory cough that you may also be eligible for.
