What can i do to relieve post surgical pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several: The first thing is to take your pain meds as directed by your surgeon. I have a few patients who're afraid of addiction and won't take their pain meds. But taking them as prescribed while truely having pain won't lead to addiction. Getting active and moving will lead to less pain. As you begin the pain increases but reduces the more you move. Check with your surgeon about tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen.
