Outlet syndrome: The risks depend on your overall health, surgical risk and benefit are determined by the severity of symptoms, and your health. The other question is where is the outlet obstruction? Outlet obstruction can occur where a nerve gets compressed, cubical or carpal tunnel, posterior tibial or perineal nerves can also be compressed. The risk depends on symptoms, health and location.

Sometimes: Outket syndrome is operated on for the vein and nerve and sometimes there is minimal pain relief. But if there are problems with the nerves or blood vessels it is necessary.
