Tennis elbow: Sounds surgery for tennis elbow. I am sorry to hear that you didn't get better. I used to operate on tennis elbow after 6 weeks of failed conservative treatment. Now i wait for at least 12-18 months. Reason is, most get better with time. Mri often suggests "torn tendon" but surgery is rarely needed. Diagnosis can be incorrect, since other conditions can cause same symptoms. Get 2nd opinion.
