You Can't: Everybody processes grief and loss differently, however it is impossible to make any parent "ok" with the loss of a child. Losing a child, to suicide or otherwise, is likely one of the most difficult losses to process. The best thing to do is support the person & be there for them. Counseling and group therapy would be highly recommended for anyone who has experienced the loss of a child.

Suicide: You cannot. It will be a huge, gaping hole in their lives for the rest of their days. The biological imperative is for parents to die before their children and not the reverse. All you can do is be supportive and do far more listening than talking.
