Make the call now: I'm sorry this is happening to you. The way out is by your taking decisive action. Even if your parents have ridiculed or belittled you because of the way you feel, and the things that you can't do no matter how hard you struggle, there are other folks out there who are ready to help you get back on track. There's medication, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and much more. Confidentiality assured.

Then Parents Too: Good for you reaching out! You found HealthTap so you are highly motivated to have a fine fulfilling life. Once you're connected with good help as already suggested, get your help team to reach out and help your parents get tuned in to who you are and what they're missing in not having a close, understanding and caring relationship with someone as bright and full of feelings as you obviously are.

If your suicidal thoughts become plans please go to the Emergency Room. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to rule out illness. The most complete evaluation for medication is with a Psychiatrist. Please consult with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy to help with ZOOM. Psychotherapy can help you deal with these issues.
