Croup: Very common. Esp after exposure to cold. Steam helps too.

TLC: You can use a vaporizor with some Vicks vaposteam, this contains eucalyptus and is soothing to the airways and chest; give him some tea with lemon and honey in it as well; if he is still coughing in a few days or if his breathing becomes labored, call or visit his doctor.

Honey: Honey is great for coughs. I like saline if there is nasal symptoms with it. Humidification is nice at night. The cough is unlikely related to the snow time so please don't feel guilty over playing with him.
