Many: First thing is histoplasmsis. This causes multiple small nodules. It sounds like your doctor is following this: http://www.Med.Umich.Edu/rad/res/fleischner-nodule.Htm which is the best way to follow these nodules. Hopefull, you've quit (or never were) smoking, and you're keeping a very good eye on them.
