Probably need a : Little more information to sort this out. If the lack of neutrophils is due to a drug, or an immune phenomenon, no. If there is an underlying blood disorder then the natural history could include evolution to acute leukemia.

Depends: It depends on the condition associated with the agranulocytosis. Agranulocytosis is seen a variety of settings and the best way to find out exactly what is causing it is to follow up with the treating doctor and perform the appropriate lab tests.
