Agranulocytosis: Refers to the absence of granulocytes. This is a fairly rare diagnosis, but not a malignancy. This could occur in a malignant disease such as acute leukemia, but would be called such rather than agranulocytosis.

No: Agranulocytosis is a laboratory finding of no or very low levels of granulocytes, a type of white blood cells. This could be caused by destruction of these cells or by not making enough cells. Cancer is only one of the conditions that is associated with this finding.
