No: Biopsy does not increase your risk of getting breast cancer in the future.

No,: the biopsy procedure itself does not increase the risk of cancer. However, a history of prior breast biopsies is considered a small risk factor(e.g. Gail Score Risk Assessment Model). In other words, the biopsies are not causing increased risk, but the fact that you are having biopsies may mean you have a small increased relative risk.
