Many symptoms.: Generally altered sensation and or pain in the thumb and next two digits of one of your hands. Comes on with stress of the hand and wrist such as holding a book, pencil, typing, carrying a briefcase, doing push ups etc. Pain can sometimes extend up to shoulder. Often noted in am or can wake you from sleep.

Carpal tunnel: Numbness and tingling of the radial 3 and a half digits of the hands, having to shake your hand to get sensation back, awakening from this, dropping things.
