CTS: Carpal tunnel syndrome is characterized by paresthesia, numbness or burning pain in the thumb, index, middle and radial half of the ring finger.The hand may feel weak or patients may tend to drop things.They are woken up from sleep with symptoms.The symptoms may occur with writing, holding the phone, typing or driving.EMG/Nerve conduction tests help confirm diagnosis. Thenar muscle loss may occur.
