Not likely: An expander and invisalign aligners typically can not be used together due to the very nature of the devices. One must be used first (typically an expander) and then the other.

No: An expander will constantly be changing your palatal width, and will be in the way. The invisalign system relies on predictable timed movement with a series of sequential trays guiding this calculated movement. Ask your orthodontist if it is possible to expand with the invisalign system -- likely depends on how little you need.

Not really: Most often a palate expander in the upper jaw could be used before the initiation of clear aligner treatments. They would not typically be used simultaneously.

Invisalign can expan: If you are in cross-bite, an expander would be used first, then invisalign next. If you just need to have your arches expanded, then invisalign does a good job of this.

No: The invisalign trays will not fit properly. Have the spacers first.

No: First of all, clear aligner trays are not braces. They are less than 1/2 as effective in correction tooth malpositions. Second, aligners cannot and do not alter skeletal malrelationships. If jaws don't match they have to be corrected first, then teeth can be straightened (better and faster w braces). Please see a fully qualified orthodontic specialist.

Not in the same jaw: Expanders are frequently used prior to Invisalign or in the other jaw. The fit of the Invisalign is essential to their working which is too hard to predict the exact movement from expanders.
