Invisalign or braces: Each has its place depending upon the individual circumstances of the case. The ability of the orthodontist performing the service is more important than the technique used. Find the best orthodontist you can and discuss your treatment options.

Your choice, but ...: For teens we typically recommend braces. Teens tend to lose or damage invisalign trays. Also, braces tend to be cheaper, faster, and potentially more effective as they provide the doctor greater control of tooth movement. As there is really no 'stigma' for teens to wear braces, they are typically overall a better choice.

Braces: First of all make sure you're seeing a qualified Orthodontist for Rx. Second, braces Rx can provide about 95% improvement in teens. Clear aligners (that only work if they are worn) result in less than 50% improvement. Talk this over with a pro, an Orthodontist. And if you wish get a second opinion. Wouldn't use it for my family.
