Infection: You probably have an infection. It will not go away until you either have the infection drained or go on antibiotics or both. If it is a tooth infection it will need either a root canal or extraction.

See a dentist: This lump may be an abcess that will not drain. As you have done the right otc treatments, it's probably best to let a dentist have a look to make sure that no long term damage is occurring.
