I am 6wks pregnant tom. i work with vascular ultrasound only. i tried scanning myself (trans-abdominal), i couldn't see anything in uterus. a concern?

Do not try at home!: Or at you vascular lab! seriously, to properly evaluate a 6 week pregnancy you need a transvaginal scan. Even using dedicated abdominal equipment, a 6 week pregnancy can be hard to see especially if there is a large body habitus (just saying). I wouldn't be too upset in the absence of vaginal bleeding or other problems.
