: Assuming U/S was done "at 10 weeks" after a missed period, the most likely reason is a delay in ovulation, which causes consequent delay in menstruation. To be certain about pregnancy, obtain a serum HCG test. It is unlikely for a retroverted uterus to cause an error in ultrasound for a pregnancy of greater than 3-4 weeks post conception.

Assuming U/S was done "at 10 weeks" after a missed period, the most likely reason is a delay in ovulation, which causes consequent delay in menstruation. To be certain about pregnancy, obtain a serum HCG test. It is unlikely for a retroverted uterus to cause an error in ultrasound for a pregnancy of greater than 3-4 weeks post conception.
