Yes: If you have heavy menses you could definetly be anemic. Fibroid location can contribute to anemia as well.

Yes: Heavy menses is one of the presentation caused by fibroid. The larger the fibroid is, the larger the surface of your uterus is- which means heavier menses you will have. Heavier menses is equal to more blood loss- and this will lead to iron deficiency anemia.
