No: This minor fluctuation in your hemoglobin / hematocrit may be unrelated to treatment. You describe yourself as a man. Iron deficiency in a man, unless you are on a restricted diet or a heavy blood donor, warns of serious disease -- ulcer or cancer until proved otherwise. Or the anemia may not be iron deficiency. You have a duty to demand a full explanation from your physician.

No significant chang: These two values are not significantly different. I would consider them unchanged. So your probleem is no better or no worse. You need to find out the cause of your anemia from your doctor and then treat the cause. What is maltofer? Iron pill?

Not enough: Information to answer specifically. This is a treatment for iron deficiency. Have you been diagnosed with an iron issue? Has the possibility of blood loss been looked at?
