PFPS: You may have what we call patellafemoral pain syndrome. If you get checked out by ortho/sports med you may need pt. If you have pain with stairs, standing up from a seated position, squatting, kneeling all around the knee cap this seems what it could be. Have it looked at, you want to get pt. Exercises are terminal knee extensions, one legged squats (no wts), and isometrics.
