Possibly: Aneurysms can run in families with connective tissue disorders like marfan's and ehlers-danlos. But also athersclorosis (hardening of arteries) can cause aneurysms too. Smoking, obesity, bad diets, sedentary lifestyles run in families but are not inherited. These are risk factors of atherosclerosis.

Abdominal aneurysm: Not sure what you mean by twisted aorta. 2.6 cm aneurysm is nothing to worry about. Needs to be followed up.
