Probably should.: At your age the pvr should be about 10 ml. You have a significant volume of retained urine which could lead to complications down the road. Your urologist seems to have your best interest at heart.

PVR: A post void residual urine volume of 43ml is not highly abnormal. Unless you are having a very weak stream or a split stream, painful urination or blood in the urine the cystoscopy with dilation might be a little excessive? Discuss the indications with your urologist.
