A positive exposure: Means you have been exposed to the virus, if symptomatic then have the disease if not can be incubating it.

Influenza A or B: Rapid diagnostic tests are sometimes useful in confirming the diagnosis of influenza. They detect part of the influenza virus on the swab. They will help determine whether the strain of influenza is type a or type b.
