Influenza test: Htreference: this is a specific test that qualitatively tests for influenza a and influenza b. It uses immunoflourescence microscopy to look for antibodies that attach to antigens of the influenza virus and gives the lab technician a quantity of antibodies that are attached to the flu antigen. Basically it is an expensive way of telling if you have the flu virus or not.
