Influenza virus: It sounds as if you had a swab with viral culture which identified a virus as either influenze type a or influenza type b. Both are common, especially this time of year. These are the viruses which cause "the flu", with fever, muscle aches, headache, runny nose, sore throat, and cough, often with easy fatigue.
