No, unless.....: Are you on any blood thinners? If you are, you need to make sure your doctor is aware of it. Otherwise, i don't see any reason for concern. Just make sure you have given or will give all information pertaining to your medical history to the doctor performing the procedure.

Tell the doc...: If you are having a biopsy, it likely needs to be done. Tell the doctor ahead of time though. Most people who have had dvt's and pe's are on blood thinners already. It's important to inform your doctor of these things so that they understand your proclivity for clots and possible bleeding issues from medications you are taking.
