This can be triggered by situations that you feel demand more from you than you can handle. Good stress? Having a deadline can help you stay on task and perform better -- like for a presentation or exam. Inner desire to grow can result in "good" stress also.

How about having a: New baby. It is a joy - but can be so stressful (lack of sleep, frequent feedings, monitoring consistently, diaper changes etc.). Stress can sometimes feed peak performance ; keep one on task. It is important to manage stress.To address stress that is negatively impacting you: talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity.
