Very unlikely : If your sciatica symptoms started right after the epidural injection it may be possible but unlikely. However if you started having symptoms much later from the injection it almost surely has no connection.

Epidural Injections: Ive had some patients (granted a minority) who have an increase in pain following a selective nerve root block injection given for unilateral leg pain from a disc herniation. It usually gets better over the next 24 hours. My theory is that the fluid (steroid) creates local pressure in an already confined space. I stress though that this complaint is transient and not long lasting.

Unlikely : But being pregnant and having labor can. Either way, speak with your doctor to see what therapies are available and appropriate.

If you're worried: Get an MRI to determine where your problem lies. It is unlikely an epidural for childbirth caused the sciatica. However the stress that happens during childbirth and labor could have caused a herniated disc to happen resulting in your sciatica.
