None: Some dental schools give a dds degree and some give a dmd degree. They are equivalent.

Only the school: There are a two professional degrees in dentistry offered by dental schools in the usa and various countries around the world. They are doctor of dental surgery (dds) and doctor of dental medicine (dmd). Each fully qualifies the holder to practice dentistry and they are equivalent in every way.
