Unfortunate: Unfortunate circumstance. How do you know that the tooth has to be extracted without seeing the dentist. I assume you saw another dentist. Ask the dentist for options. Ask if part or all of the bridge can be salvaged by dental implants. Consider another opinion.

Implant-supported: bridge. Dental implants are always a preferred tooth replacement option because they do not affect the adjacent teeth like a bridge does. Ask your dentist if you are a good candidate.
