Teething: These are signs of teething, your baby should be getting his or her first tooth between the age of 6 month and 10 month, it is always possible that the teeth may come sooner or later. Have your dentist or pediatrician take a look, tylenol (acetaminophen) for children can help make your child more comfortable, massage the gums with a clean finger, try orajel as well.

NO Orajel Please!: Most likely teething. I strongly advise against the use of orajel for children for any reason, especially those under the age of 2 years. See these reports: http://www.Ada.Org/news/5731.Aspx http://www.Fda.Gov/forconsumers/consumerupdates/ucm306062.Htm i would also not use an pain medication. Use a very cold but not frozen teething ring. Check with your own pediatrician.

Yes: This is just about the right time for that first tooth and the lower front two are the first to come in.
