Depends: It really depends what sort of pains are going on. You didn't describe location, quality, intensity, timing...Anything at all.

Stomach pains: Sorry that your wife can't find relief. Hard to determine her source of pain without knowing the characteristic of the pain (sharp, stabbing, dull, etc) and aggravators of it. If it is a heartburn type pain then i would eliminate as much processed foods/breads which cause bloating there pushing acid up into her esophagus where it shouldn't be. Keep me posted!
