I have acid reflux & have taken carafate, dexilant, (dexlansoprazole) tums and zantac, but i had to stop all the medications due to side effects. what should i do now?

Lifestyle: There may be some lifestyle issues you can modify to lessen the problems you have with reflux. The chemicals in coffee, tea & some sodas (caffeine) or it's cousin nicotine (smokers) all keep the stomach entrance from closing tightly. Removing them from your life can help.Not reclining for at least an hour after a meal or large beverage can also.
