Hi/Low Intensity Mix: There seems to be a wide variation among elite power lifters about how much and how often to train. Climbing on a treadmill, interval training with emphasis on plyometrics, swimming sprints all make sense to improve cv fitness while maintaining muscle mass. Many power lifters reduce their aerobic training before competitions to avoid injury and joint strain.
