Main Meals: It is good to have a lean protein, complex carbohydrate, a fresh fruit and serving of vegetable at each meal. Healthy snacks might include 1 tbsp of peanut butter on a fresh fruit or celery and carrots. Try to get variety, moderation and balance into your meals. Aim for 1/4 plate as protein, 1/4 as whole grains, 1/4 as fruit and 1/4 as vegetables.
