Will a er doctor tell you if something is really wrong? or will they send you home and wait for you to follow up with your pcp?

They will admit you: If you are seriously ill the emergency medicine physician will admit you... Even if its only likely that you are ill, you will be admitted. If they sent you home to follow up, it means there may be a problem but they didn't see it as urgent, or that it is nonurgent but needs more evaluation to see what the problem is.
