Neurologist believes it was a tia, but er doc and pcp believe that it was "migraine variant"...who do i believe when 3 docs are not in agreement?

All may be right: Complex migraine can produce a vascular spasm that can cause a transient ischemic attack (tia). Young women on bcps can have true stroke due to migraine. Aspirin is the best treatment. Ergots are high risk. Decision is still uncertain about use of triptans.

Make sure : You rule out other causes of tias, like carotid stenosis and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.
