MRI-brain imaging: Mri(magnetic resonance imaging) uses high magnetic fields to image the head. It is particularly sensitive for imaging the brain and other soft tissues. Detailed information about the normal and abnormal brain structure may be obtained. Mri does not use radiation as is used in cat scans. The MRI is particularly useful in providing information about 1. Brain tumors 2. Vascular anomalies 3. Stroke.
