Noise: Loud noises, clinking, etc. For which they give you ear plugs, and some facilities also can play music to counteract the noise -close your eyes if you may be claustrophobic. When i've been in one, it's the best rest i had all day.

MRI: An MRI can be intimidating. The machine is a large magnet and for safety reasons is in a special room, therefore make sure you have no metal on you. The machines make various changing loud and clicking noises. In addition the machine sits close to your face. Talk to the technologist preforming your scan, they should be able to help answer your questions and make it as easy as possible for you.
