Surgery: I recommend removal of any lipoma that is enlarging or causing symptoms. I'm assuming the lipoma is in the abdominal wall or skin.

May not be lipoma: Lipomas generally do not cause much pain, so i would see a physician to make sure this is a lipoma and not a hernia, which may look similar.
