I have a lipoma on my lower stomach, i went to my gp to get it checked out and they confirmed it was a lipoma, but i am still curious as it is hard?

If the mass: is typical lipoma, you should not worry. Lipomas usually do not feel indurated, though, so it does not seem to be your typical lipoma. Have a surgeon look at it, especially if is enlarging in size.
